Backdoor Service Discontinued
We are receiving a lot of calls related to BACKDOOR collection services in the Franklin and Brentwood service areas. To make sure we are clear, this level of service was discontinued on January 16th for only individual customers whose Home Owner Association (HOA) does not regulate or pay for garbage/recycling collection services directly to Red River Waste Solutions.
We now only provide CURBSIDE garbage collection once per week & recycling collection every-other-week to individual customers whose service is not regulated and is not paid for by an HOA as an assessment. If we bill you individually you are now considered a CURBSIDE customer.
In addition, we discontinued twice a week garbage collection to individual customers whose Home Owner Association (HOA) does not regulate or pay for garbage/recycling collection services directly to Red River Waste Solutions. If you decide to remain a Red River customer with once a week service, our customer service department will have to make adjustments to your account to accommodate the change in service frequency.
We fully understand how confusing this has been, this additional notification was designed to better describe the difference in the type of services now provided by our company to subscription customers.
We eliminated BACKDOOR collection for individual customers based on the liability of entering private property, reduced service productivity and to offer a more uniform service offering to our customers.
The only exception to this service policy above is for customers who live in a Home Owners Association (HOA) that has a contract with Red River and the HOA pays Red River directly for the collection service.
